Since it’s quinoa week on Healthtalks TV here’s another recipe that Jess and I have thrown together for you.

A quick and healthy alkalising quinoa recipe

1 cup cooked white quinoa
3 fresh shitake, finely sliced
2 stalks celery, finely sliced
1 teaspoon grated ginger
1 tablespoon Brookfarm macadamia nut oil
1/4 cup activated almonds. sliced lengthwise
1 lime, juice only
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
1 punnet shiso micro herbs
handful of sunflower sprouts
Any other green leaves you have kicking around

  • In  large mixing bowl place quinoa, then slowly combine each individual ingredient one by one, tossing lightly at the end to incorporate
