The Passion | Melbourne event wrap up

Oh my giddy Aunt did we have fun in Melbourne last Saturday?! There’s something about being in your hometown with your besties and working a room full of mostly locals that fills my heart with joy. Do you know what the most amazing thing was? That at least three people flew in from interstate. Andi came all the way from WA just to hear our stories. John swung by from Adelaide and Chris came down from Brisbane. So for all those locals who missed out, ‘not being able to get there’ ain’t no excuse!

But the thing that filled my heart with more joy the there are grains of sand on Main Beach was this. Unbeknown to us – and certainly unsolicited – is this review of our event by one of our wonderful attendees. I am so very grateful for this review – and the goody bag pic below – it makes every day of the ten week roll out campaign worth every breath. Now do you wish you came? Well, I’ve got the next best thing for you.

You can now download my presentation for a small fee to keep my wheels of e-commerce spinning here.

A big shout out to those who sponsored our ‘grab n go’ Goody Bags. Brookfarm, Coconut Magic, The Chia Co, Loving Earth, and my all time favourite tea Madame Flavour who literally couriered immaculate cubes of Green Jasmine & Pear the night before to our most awesome venue Donkey Wheel House. Thank you. My overwhelming attitude of gratitude goes out to Bec at DWH. A like-minded soul with Byron Bay connections who cared for the success of our event as if it was her new-born baby. If you’re looking for a great space to launch a product, host an event like ours or get married, this CBD location is tops. Check it out here.

A big shout out to Al Kennedy who take so many awesome photos. Checkout his work here. Thanks to Russ for being our door and merch man. What a fine job he did do too. The biggest thanks goes out to all who attended on the day.

Nat Kringoudis shares her publishing journey

Have you ever seen such a good looking, smart bunch of soon-to-be authors?

What they’re saying…

This workshop dropped in at the perfect time for me. a great selection of experience on the panel covering a great range of scenarios. I left feeling pumped and informed and so much closer to realising my dream !!

Samantha Gowing is an inspirational speaker with so much valuable knowledge through her experience as a talented and versatile entrepreneur. The combination of the other speakers Adam Watt and Nat Kringoudis was also very inspirational and knowledgable. I look forward to more seminars in the near future.

A beautiful event, these ladies will have you believing that maybe you can follow this path too.

I found Andrew’s presentation on the legal and copyright aspects easily understood and very helpful.  All three presentations were inspiring and have now fired me up to get going and DO IT.

Thank you to Sam, Nat and Andrew for an inspiring, helpful and informative seminar. I came along really not knowing anything about self publishing and was a little daunted by it. I have left feeling it is definitely something I would like to do and feel excited and inspired to get all my content now in place. All three speakers covered different areas of expertise and I found this very helpful, with being able to answer questions also.

The Publish your passion event was fantastic it showed 3 different experiences on being a self publisher I found this so useful and it has inspired me to get the ball rolling with my own publishing journey, thank you Sam, Andrew and Nat!

What a fantastic way to spend a Saturday with a PASSIONATE group of professionals talking about their experiences.  It has really confirmed my desire to finish my book and given me the belief and tools to know it is possible.  Priceless presentation with NO risk and I would highly recommend anyone with a desire to self publish attend one of Sam’s workshops.
